Sophie Greenwood’s cupcakes are to die for.

At least, they are ever since she made a wish in the old town square well—a wish to be the most killer baker in Basin Hollow, even better than her mother was before giving her bakery to Sophie and moving away.

Sophie didn’t know, though, that wishes come with a price. Now the desserts at Greenwood’s Baked Goods are developing an appetite of their own.

Disappearances mount, and Sophie struggles to keep up with the messes and stop suspicion from turning to her and her bakery. When the sticky situation grows beyond her ability to control, and when the victims of her carnivorous confections begin to include people Sophie cares about, she has to make a choice.

Figure out a way to break the wish and lose her last chance at success in the process, or lose the town she loves and everyone in it.
